How long to wait after new baby to start pting?

Owen will be 3 months on 10/12 & I was going to start PTing Lilly after that. She is definitely showing signs she is ready but I dont want to push it if it is still too soon after the arrival of her brother. thoughts?

One of the books I read recommended leaving a margin of 'a few months' either way. So if you think she's ready and it's been 3 months, I'd say to go for it.

DD was @ 4-5 weeks old when we PT DS.  He started showing signs when I was pregnant but he was really young then and I was nervous about doing it when I was pregnant.  Like I said we did it while we were on baby leave and it was very easy and we had no issues with it.  I thought it was very easy with DD being so young because at that age she slept most of the time .

We just started using underwear this afternoon and DS2 is a little younger than yours.  My clue was when he asked to sit on the potty to poop while shopping in a store.  He's been sitting on the potty and going when we prompt and if he feels like it for several months now.  I don't want to hold him back anymore if he's ready, so we promptly bought some underwear while we were out.
