I have the Medela Symphony hospital grade pump (rented). The tubing has some condensation in it and even a few droplets of water. Could this affect the pump's pumping ability? Also, how do I get it out of there? Is it even possible?
TIA!

I usually unhook the hoses from the back of the connectors and let the pump run for a few minutes. The suction will push some of the condensation out. If that doesn't get it all, then I hang them up to dry.
if you unplug the tubes, and whip them around in a circle (like a lasso!) it will whip all of the water right out. i pump 3x per day at work, and this is what works for me!
Re: Condensation in the breastpump tubing? What to do....
It will not affect the pump's ability.
