Fenugreek dosage

So I was using More Milk Plus from Motherlove taking 6 pills a day.  I noticed that the blend only contained a total of 333 mg per pill of Fenugreek, Blessed Thistle, Fennel and another herb.  I was looking on kellymom.com regarding the recommended dosage of fenugreek was 3,500 mg/day to show a result (basically if I don't smell like maple syrup then it isn't working).  So if that is the case, then I obviously wasn't meeting the required dosage with just 6 pills per day of the More Milk Plus.

So even though I was given a prescription of Reglan, I am going to see if I up the dosage of Fenugreek and blessed thistle alone if that will increase my supply.  I am really nervous about taking Reglan since depression runs in my family.  I would like to try the domperdine (sp?) but I am retuning to work in 2-3 weeks and don't have time to waste waiting for it to be shipped.  Does anyone know if it is available in the US? 

Anyone else taking 3500 mg of fenugreek with blessed thistle (I only have the tincture form and it said to take 20 drops/day - hopefully the alcohol in the tincture won't hurt the BM) notice a difference?

I take 3-4 caps 3x per day of Fenugreek.  You can also try eating oatmeal, I've heard that helps too.
