nbr: garage door openers

This may seem like a stupid question...  But, if your garage door opener has ever stopped working, how did you fix it?  I don't see a place to change batteries on it.  Or do you just have to get a replacement?

    Take it to the Ace hardware and tell them you have a dead battery. They will then open it and find the right size for you. Also try googling the brand to find the manual, which will tell you how to change the battery

    I tried to respond to this last night, but I was having internet trouble. Our garage door opener recently stopped working and my husband decided to replace it with a new one, due to some irreplaceable (or maybe just hard to find) parts on the old one. I'm not sure if this is the only option, but he wanted the quickest solution that wouldn't break the bank. It did, however, take him over 12 hours to install. You could also pay someone to install a new one, but I'm not sure how much that would cost. Hope this helps!
