I have two large dogs, I routinely walk them every day for about two miles. They tend to pull here and there. I haven't had any pains or problems walking them yet but I was just wondering if anyone thinks this is a good or bad idea to continue?? I don't have an appt until the 29th so I wont be able to ask until then.
Re: Dog walking question.
If you have the energy to do it then go for it. Like the pp said you can always take one one day and the other another day. Walking is very low stress on your body and great exercise.
It's fine - I walked my two dogs several miles a day until the day before I delivered last time.

Experts say pretty much any exercise routine you were doing before you got pregnant is ok to continue doing. As my Dr. said "I wouldn't start a kickboxing class or join boot camp class..." From what I've read, even lifting isn't so much because it can harm the baby but it's because you lose your stomach muscle as your uterus pushes them to the side and spreads them, so you're in danger of injuring your back, not the baby.
I would ask your Dr. for sure, but I think you'll be ok.
