Got part time at work :)

So I am officially over here now.  DD is 9 months today.  She is crawling and saying "og" for dog, "ar" for car and she calls me "am".

I have been really missing her working full time so hubs and I re-did the budget and figured I could  work part time.  My work does not really offer part time but I thought I would ask and they gave it to me! yay!

So I am working 6-10am mon-fri so I can spend lot's of time with my snuggle bean.

Any other part timers out there?

I went part time when DD was 6 months old and it has been the best decision DH and I ever made.  Enjoy!

I am still on mat. leave until January, but I will only be Teaching part time when I return....probably 2 or 3 days a week.

Part time is the best of both worlds IMH.....congrats :-)

I want to go part time but my boss had a stick up her butt and won't let me, although HR told her it would be fine.. I hate my job more and more every day ever since having DS.

I went part time when my LO was 10 months and it is the BEST choice I ever made. I work M-Th 8-12. Once LO dropped to one nap a day 1-3 I have a good part of my afternoon to get caught up on laundry, cleaning, dinner, etc then have the rest of the afternoon with her.

I went back to work three weeks ago, 3 days a week.  I work in a law office and am working Monday - Wednesday from 8:30 to 4:30.  Before I had DD I worked Monday to Friday 7:30 - 3:30.  Part time is way better, DD still gets to interact with other kids and I get to get out of the house as Kimberly, not Madi's mommy, and I still get 4 days a week to spend with her.  It is great.
