xp: For those of you that have used a "Bundleme"...

As the weather gets cooler I figured that I would put DD's Bundleme Lite on her carrier (SnugRide 35), but it doesn't fit all that well. The actual Bundleme seems to bunch a bit (where she sits), and the elastic band around the back is hard to get around the carrier. I tried to return it, but without the packaging BRU wouldn't take it back.

Maybe I'm just putting it on wrong? Has anyone else had an issue trying to put the Bundleme on their infant carrier?

  • I have thw BundleMe Urban which is pretty much the same as the lite.  I never had an issue using it with my Graco Snugride 32.

  • There's been a lot of discussion about alternatives to the Bundleme (at least the traditional design, supposedly they have a new one out) on this board because it comes between the baby and the back of the car seat.  Some of the car seat experts on here or those that have had their seats checked said these can invalidate your seat warranty (bad in case of an accident).  Many alternatives are mentioned in these posts including some carried by Target and Amazon.  Its just food for thought if you haven't seen the posts yet.

  • I cut the back out of mine around the harness straps and that eliminated the bunchiness problem, and made it safer.  I've never had a problem with the elastic band- are you trying to stretch it over the hood too?  I put the hood forward and then stretch the elastic behind the seat.  I have the snugride 22 so maybe mine is just smaller.
