Is anyone watching Dateline NBC??

I just have this on in the background so I don't have the whole story straight but from what I can tell a couple teenagers, girl and boy, broke into a house and robbed the couple who lived there then shot them.

They're showing the interrogation of the girl involved and she is so flippant and STUPID it's making me absolutely insane.  "so-and-so shot the guy in the head then shot a hole in the lady's face".  Said totally casually and matter of factly, almost like she's bragging to the policemen.

Then, my favorite, while looking at the mugshot of the guy involved she says "I wish he wasn't a murderer. He's hot".

Where do these people come from?
