How cold is 56?

I don't remember and that's how cold it's going to be where we're going this weekend.  Do I need a fleece jacket?  DD does, right?  And a hat?

LOL I guess it depends on the person.  If it were me a longsleeve shirt, pants, and maybe a light jacket would suffice.

I'd definitely wear a jacket & put a hat on LO. Especially if you're going to be outside for a while. If you're just going from the car to the house or whatever, maybe just a jacket. I get cold easy though, it's like 65 here today & I think that's chilly

That's definitely cold for me. I'd wear a jacket and jeans. I'd bring a jacket/sweater, long sleeve shirt and jeans for LO. and a hat/beanie as well.

Okay, thanks!  The coldest it's gotten here (Chicago) has been around 60, I think, and that felt cold!  This will be the coldest weekend yet...  ooh, maybe we'll build a fire!

Thats pretty chilly! Long sleeves, a mid weight coat, a hat for LO for sure. Maybe a cute scarf and boots for you. Is that the daytime high?  I would pack a heavy fleece coat for you and LO. brrrrrr!!

Its 59 here today. I would wear a fleece jacket. DD would need a hat too. If its going to be sunny, it could get warm. Dress in layers!

Not to complicate things, but I think humidity and whether you're going to be in the shade or the sun play into how cold it feels.  I'd bring a hat, but I think that's right on the borderline of actually needing it.

I personally would wear pants, a tee, and a hoodie or sweater.  DD would have long sleeve shirt under her fleece hoodie, a hat if I could keep it o her head, and probably a blanket for her legs, if we were going to be outside for extended time.

This. I agree with pp who said it all depends on the person. As long as it's over 50 I take DS on my short morning run. My girlfriend in Florida thinks 60 is parka weather, in the spring here that's shorts weather!
