Anyone plan on watching?  (on TLC)

The commercials had me so intrigued that I went to the website & started watching clips.  It's mesmerizing.  

Unlike other coverage of polygamous families I've seen before (which isn't a whole lot &, to be fair, is probably skewed), these women do not at all seem brainwashed or religiously (or otherwise) radical.  They seem like normal people who have a different lifestyle which they seem to feel is very rewarding.  Fascinating. 

I almost slugged a skaank for continuously hitting on DH when we were dating.  (It was Halloween & she was dressed as a bumble bee...I was in a self-mocking "Jersey Girl" getup.  Enjoy the imagery.)  I couldn't IMAGINE sharing him with 3 other women!!!  

Fascinating.

    Okay, so I just read the blurbs on how they all met & got married.  Definitely on the weirder end of the spectrum.  But still very interesting.

    This was on the other night and I got totally sucked in.  Like you, I couldn't imagine living that lifestyle, but I still found it very interesting to learn about.  I'm not sure if this is a series about the same family or if they'll show different families, but by the way you describe the wives, they sound the same as what I was watching.  What I found really interesting was that the first wife kind of picked out the second and third wife.  The husband actually referred to her as the bait!  Four adults living with 12 children...thats a full house...

    I definitely am intrigued now...I will have to catch up on it! Not a lifestyle I could ever imagine living but intriguing none the less...
