I got SO's Halloween costume at Goodwill for a steal. I have no problem with thrift store shopping whatsoever, but he kind of does. Not sure why, but that's his perogative I guess. So I am not planning on telling him where I got it at, or that it came from the Women's section.

We are going as Shaggy and Velma (Cody will be Scooby Doo), so I got him a green v neck t shirt and brown slacks that look somewhat like bell bottoms. Not too big a deal (at least to me), but he would probably freak if he knew they were used women's clothes!

Nice.  Sometimes I don't tell my DH when I buy (or get from freecycle) used stuff either.

DH is a GERMAPHOBE and cringes at the idea of getting anything used.  It was hard to convince him and his mom that getting a used Bob was a good idea.  I feel your pain and I too wouldn't tell my DH if I bought something from goodwill.

I buy most of DH's work clothes from there b/c he's just going to ruin them.  But, I've found that if I wait for the 40% off of sale sales at The Gap I can buy stuff for less than at Goodwill.

Too funny on the deceiving DH part.  For some reason my DH thinks that ALDI is dirty and low-class.  (Not that he's ever been there.)  If I shop there I bring my reusable bags from the regular grocery store...and then he doesn't even know that I didn't go to Wegmans.

Mine feels the same way about Aldi's - especially produce/meat.  Argh!
