I found this story on Channel 9's website. I am definitely guilty of some of these.

If you feel like you're paying too much for things in this tough economy, take a look at the list of the most overpriced items.

Text Messages top the list with the biggest markup at 6,000%. It costs you an average of 20-cents to send a text , but it costs your carrier 3/10 of a cent to process it. Wanna see what else you can trim to save money?

I don't know why but the greeting cards kill me! I hate spending lots of money on something that will get looked at for a second and then tossed in the garbage.

I know it's ridiculously overpriced, but I just cannot break myself of the bottled water habit! I can do filtered water no problem, but something about tap water makes me nervous...
