AF question - of course it's TMI

You'd think at almost 30 I wouldn't have questions about AF anymore, but today I have a new one.

My AF usually lasts 5-6 days, getting lighter towards the end. Today is day 4 and I've started having bad cramps again and heavy bleeding that is bright red. Probably normal, but it's never happened to me before, so I'm going to ask. Is this okay? Just for the record, I was 6 days late, which never happens and I had a good amount of blood drawn on Wednesday. Maybe that has something to do with it?
