DH and I were talking last night. We have a friend who is a GREAT photographer, and I was saying how much I personally dislike traditional mat photos where the husband is kissing or rubbing the wife's belly, etc. Totally NMS. Too cutesy fu-fu for me.
So..... we're thinking of doing anti-maternity shots. He wants one where I'm pushing the lawnmower and he's sitting in a lawn chair with a beer, something to that effect. The problem is, we would do them around Christmas time. Maybe a couple of steps up on a ladder, pretending to do some heavy manual labor? LOL...
Any ideas????

I LOVE these!!!! I was on the fence about getting maternity photos because they usually make me gag but I love the humor of these photos. I have to send it to my friend, she'll be doing the photo shoot if I decide to go that way.

I like the pumpkin photos in the link. Cute, but not overly cutesy.
This might work, depending on your front porch. You could pretend to be putting up Christmas lights with DH standing in the front door way in a pjs with a robe and cup of coffee pointing out what you should be doing?
If you weren't in Texas, I'd say shoveling snow would be great, but....

Not sure where you live in Texas, but all I can think of is you chasing cows or even milking a cow and him sitting on the fence giving you directions (maybe even drinking a beer or soda).
Baahhaaa, that would be funny! We're total suburbanites though. NO ONE who knows me would believe that i could milk a cow!! Total city girl. Hmmm, that may make it even better... Writing this one down too!
