How do you know the difference between MS and like the flu or food poisioning? I feel like this is a really stupid question but I've never been pregnant to know the difference. I woke up this morning and threw up twice. I feel fine other than sick to my stomach. I hadn't been drinking and everyone that ate with me last night is fine. I'm thinking it's probably just a bug but everyone else seems to say ms.
Is there a difference or is it similar enough to be confused?
Re: Potentially stupid question
They can be confused pretty easily IMO. Have you taken a test?
I actually found out that I was pregnant on a Thursday evening (POAS) and I woke up Friday morning sick as a dog. I thought 'holy crap that was fast' but after 3 days of solid flu - vomiting, cold sweats, sleeping 20 hours a day, not eating etc... I figured out it was just the flu! I didn't really get morning sickness until around week 7 or 8 and I was really nauseous most of the day. I would gag/vomit when I brushed my teeth and sometimes if I smelled something that didn't agree with me I would vomit but other than that I didn't just vomit when waking up. I know everyone is differnt though, so your experience may very well be M/S.
It's too early. I'm not set to start till the 11th. Another reason why I think it's probably just a bug. I think it's just the mom's being excited about a possibility.
Typically if you're having MS, you would be far enough along to have a BFP. It's the HCG (which is what gives you a BFP), that is usually what makes people have MS. If you are not due to start until the 11th I don't see how what you have could be MS, but I suppose stranger things have happened.
Good luck!

I don't think it is but you know how it is. Everyone that knows you're ttc automatically assumes you're pregnant if you're not feeling well.
Thanks for all the answers ladies!
