Caroline loves to help with the laundry.  I've let her push the button on the washer to start it so now she knows which button gets things going.  Today she turned the dial to a wash setting and hit the button.  Thankfully she can't close the door tight enough for it to actually start, but the machine beeps like crazy because the door is open. 

What sux is that I have to leave the washer door open because it's a front loader and it's always wet in there (I hate this machine!) and the door to the utility closet is one of those sliding doors so it can't close with the machine door open. 

She's just too darn smart for her own britches!

I know what you mean. Austin watched me turn on the dishwasher one night and now he is obsessed with pushing the buttons.

You saw my post about him wearing an oven mit and trying to open the oven. Lord help us!!!

I know.  It's so amazing the things they try to copy.  Luckily right now Caroline just says "hot" to the oven.  I hope she doesn't try to get in it.

oh yeah we have a bosch front loader too and have to keep the closet door open and the door open to the washer because of the smell. those high end washing machines aren't that great. we rent our apartment so it came with it but when we buy we're definitely sticking with the old fashioned metal one!

We're renting too and this came with the rental.  I always thought I wanted a front loader, but when I buy I'm pretty sure it won't be another front loader.  It's also not so great for washing cloth diapers.
