I know I have been super annoying with the Clomid questions, but I have one more. I was already o'ing on my own, just really late (like cd23-29). My doctor said that it was a problem and my cycles shouldn't be so long. She said that I didn't have a strong enough O, but I did get pregnant on my own twice, once with twins, and fairly quickly too.
Was anyone put on Clomid if you were already o'ing on your own?
Re: Another Clomid Q...promise this is the last one.
I used clomid 4 times, never worked for me. I don't ovulate on my own (per doc before loss)
But as I was told, because of longer cycles your egg quality is lower and could cause a loss. So putting you on clomid will help bring up ovulation some ( others on IF board say Ovulation canbe late CD18-24) and help with egg quality.
I usually ovulate on my own but my cycles are really long. I do have some anovulatory months as well.

Yes, I O every month on my own but I also O-ed late (20+) and didn't have a "strong" O, whatever that means. Even on clomid, and later the lowest dose of Femara, I don't think I had quality O's or good progesterone. It wasn't until I took a higher dose of Femara that my progesterone was consistent with a "good" O.
I definitely feel it has made a difference in my cycle, although of course no BFP yet. I have only had one cycle on the correct dose though. GL!
