XP: Safety Gate Recommendations

In our family room & kitchen we have two doorways that lead to our dining room and our foyer (i.e., stairs) that I wantto get a safety gate for.

Ideally I would like a "walk-through" one that is pressure mounted (vs. drilling into the door frame.)

Anyone have any recommendations?

I would love a white, wooden one...but have yet to find that anywhere.

    Hands down, best baby gates are from IKEA.  White metal, pass through, tension mount.  I think they run about $35 each which is actually pretty cheap compared to the similar ones at BRU.  We have several of these.  My brother used to live in Sweden (IKEA's birthplace) and he bought them for his kids while they were there.  That was 10 years ago and he is still using those gates for his pets today!

    We got this pet gate from walmart after seeing it at a friends and we love it.  It's also so nice that it has the expansion segment. It was under $40 at the store.
