Constipation and gas -what to do?

Baby is 5wks old and is 100% breastfed.  She has horrible gas today and I did the thermometer trick which worked.  Not sure that ever worked on my first LO...

I have elimated dairy since birth, but yesterday i ate chinese and wonder if she is allergic to soy.  

Could it be from D-visol?

She is just a fussy baby since last night.

thank you!  I think it is just bad gas.  She has gone a few times a day still, but the gas is explosive and causes her to scream.  I am betting you are right in the cabbage.
