DS tried to take his first step today, but faceplanted. :(

He was so cute for a second there...and then BAM. Not so cute or happy anymore.

But he's trying, so yay for that!

Oh no! Poor guy...but at least he's trying! Before you know it, he'll get the hang of it.

Ouch!  Poor C!

I hated watching Lucas learn to take his first steps on his own because I would feel so bad when he fell.  Soon enough though they get the hang of it!

It's so nerve wrecking watching them try to walk...yay for trying though!

I know! He's really good about walking while holding onto things (like the coffee table, or while holding our hands) but this was his first independent step. Or attempt at a step, anyway.

I know I have to get used to him falling down, and I know he's going to hurt himself, but man.

The crying didn't last long, thank goodness!

Awww.  Poor little guy but HOW EXCITING!!!!

I am really anxious about EJ taking that "step"....I am so not ready for it, but I think I have minimum 1 more month before it happens....I hope.
