NBR--Name change in IL?

Since my kid is due in late Oct, I thought I might bite the bullet and actually take my husband's last name (7 yrs after marriage). But--I just renewed my driver's license and am wondering if the DMV requires you to pay $30.00 for a new license with your new name? Has anyone done it recently and how much was it?

When I did it four years ago, I think they charged me $10 but that was before a lot of their prices went up.

I did it in February... I think the fee is around $10.  I know it is not the full $30.

Make sure you got your new social security card before heading to the DMV.
