Changing my thinking...

about CD1. I have to look at each CD1 as a chance to start to try again to get pregnant, and to maybe shed a few extra pounds and get to eating right so that when I actually do get a BFP, the diet switch won't be as difficult. Very rarely do you get a second chance to make something happen, and each CD1 that comes along is my second chance! Not to say that it won't be hard each time one comes along, but attaching this idea to it might make it easier to cope with the idea that another cycle has come and gone.

I'm so thankful I have you girls to talk to since IRL no one knows that we are TTC, so this is certainly my outlet to talk all things babies!!! Have a lovely day ladies.

good for you! That's not a bad way to start thinking. If CD1 does come for me again, I hope I can be this positive.

I like your thinking.  CD1 can never be positive for me because I'm usually a hormonal emotional wreck, but CD2 I'm usually much more rational.  I hope this is going to be both our cycles for BFPs!!

What a positive post...I like it! I was thinking that in a way too, I might do a detox if I get AF next week.  Thanks for posting...I was feeling down after a BFN this morning (even though I knew it was way too early).

Thank you ladies! Good luck to you all also this cycle. Eventually it will be our turn, but for now we just have to wait patiently...and take every chance we get now to make our miracle babies lives better when their life first starts. Have a great day ladies! I treasure you all so much!

Babybear I totally agree with you. I try to look at CD1 the same way (though sometimes it's hard when I have super short cycles) but it gives you another chance to get pg, another month to prepare, a little more time to put away some extra $$ or shed the lbs (both of which I am trying to do!) or whatever.

I agree, each CD1 gives you a new chance to make a baby! It's a good thing, a chance to move forward

Good for you! I like the attitude. I'm keeping a positive attitude too. This is our first cycle trying, and of course I'm hoping to get KU...but if I do get another CD1, I'll remember your post. Also, no one IRL knows we're trying either, so Iove coming to this board. I'm so tempted to tell my SIL but I just don't want questions from outsiders about it. So it's just b/w me, DH, and bumpies!
