Anyone usually have fade to pos opk but then sudden change?

Usually my opks gradually get darker till positive. So far this cycle not even starting to get close yet. I'm just getting anxious to see my body is getting close and hoping really soon I will go from the very much neg I've been getting to seeing some progress. Also wondering if I might go from very neg to pos in a days time when usually I have fade? Anyone have this happen?

This just happened to me.  My OPK's always faded in and then I started them a few days ago and the test line was barely visible for 2 days and then the 3rd day, WHAM!  I had THE most positive OPK I've ever had.  And another the next morning, which was yesterday morning.

I usually have the fade in pattern but not everyone does.  Some people go from neg to postive in one day.

Yup, this happened to me yesterday. I usually fade into a positive, but yesterday morning I had a faint line, and then yesterday evening was a clear positive. I definitely wasn't expecting that!

thanks for the replies.  I was trying to decide if I wanted to do 2 opks per day or just one until I start fading but I think I'll do two just to make sure I don't miss any surprises my body throws at me.
