Thoughts on...

Lydia.

Estelle. (NN Stella)

Anastasia. (uncertain of a NN, since I detest Anna and Stacy)

I really like Estelle and I like Stella (as a full name or a nn for Estelle).

Lydia is NMS at all, but not a bad name

Anastasia is very pretty, but reminds me of a Disney character for some reason (was there one with this name or am I making that up?)

Lydia is on our short list if we ever have another girl.

I like Estelle and would call her just that, not Stella. Stella seems like its own name to me, not a nn.

Anastasia is ok, but if you hate those nns, then just avoid it. I think they're bound to come up even if you insist on calling your child by her full name all the time.

Don Bluth made Anastasia.. Same guy who made the Fifel movies but he used to work at Disney. (I'm a geek, I know.)

One of the ugly stepsisters of Cinderella was Anastasia as well.

Estelle is one of my favorite names and one we would consider if we were to have a DD #2. I love names with the option for cute nicknames. Lydia is very pretty as well. Anastasia is NMS.

You know, in Amadeus, his wife goes by Stanze (STAHN-zee) (short of Constanze). I wonder if that would be too much of stretch...??

I like Lydia in theory. DH simply adores it, but I'm on the fence about it. On someone elses kid though? Adorable.

Estelle nn Stella is lovely. I prefer just Stella, but overall I like it.

Anastasia. I really, really want like it. The only problem is, I knew an Anastasia, and she was taller than all the girls and most of the boys, and she was big boned too. People called her Manastasia behind her back, so that is forever etched in my brain.
