DH gave me my PIO shot tonight. He seemed nervous, but I could tell he really wanted to give it a try so I acquiesced and let him do it despite my worries that he'd make it hurt. I laid on the sofa, and he prepped the site with an alcohol swab and just did it without any hesitation. It didn't hurt at all except for the little poke at the beginning. I was so proud of him because I know how much this stuff freaks him out. Now, he says he wants to do it tomorrow night too. I think he is super proud of himself for managing to do it without passing out. Go E!!

Woohoo!! Good job to your DH!! I had to chuckle this morning because I posted last night about how DH was a pro at injections and this morning he accidentally hit a vein. Wowzers! You should see the bruise and feel the knot on my toosh

Family hopes

Woohoo!! I have a needle phobe DH and he managed to give me my PIO injections almost every night. I know he was proud of himself and so was I. This man can start looking squemish just talking about needles.
