my girl is 9 months old today.

i look at this pic taken Sunday and i just can't believe how big she looks:

she doesn't really even look like a baby anymore. and i guess that's cuz she's not. : (  she's crawling, pulling up, standing alone, pushing and walking behind her push toy... she's going to be walking soon, i bet. and then running. and then driving. ...

i don't miss being pg and have no real desire for another baby but i just wish this wouldn't go by as fast as it is. and i PRAY PRAY PRAY that my memory stays with me and i can always remember these past 9 months for they have been the most amazing of my life.

crap, i'm crying again.

wth is gonna happen when she's a year old? or when she starts Kindergarden? OY!!

her doc appt is monday so stats to follow but she's already in 12-18 months clothes (INSANE), size 3 diapers (not for long!). she absolutely refuses baby food and will only eat table food. she's incredibly fast with the crawl and easing her way to walking with a push toy (lord help me). and I swear she say Kitty Cat (without the K, C, T sounds) and Mama (except it comes out as BaBa).

I truly understand.  I look at Aaron now (and he's 13 months) and wonder where time went. It goes SO fast.

I know what you mean! It's crazy how much Ellie's grown, changed and how fast it's all happening!

Adrian is not a baby anymore, although I still refer to him as "the baby". He will always be my baby, even if he's 50 yrs old, lol! I do get sad sometimes when I see how fast he's growing and how more independent he gets day by day. Some days he's clingy and some days (when he's playing with other kids) he totally ignores me, he just wants to be on his own! It's those times when I see the independent streak that I get a little nostalgic. I am not looking forward to the days when he prefers his friends over his parents.

Ugh. I know. It is amazing how fast it's going. Nine months old. It's the same amount of time you had her growing inside of you. This hit me like a ton of bricks the other day.

BTW - the picture of Sabrina in your blog where she is passed out on her bumper - the last one - priceless. She is a beauty.

I also think the time passes so quickly, but I see it differently. I think it a wonderful thing - soon I'll be able to communicate with her (and more importantly, she with me), go out for a walk or run with her, help her learn to ride a bicycle - so many more opportunities to do great things together!

Oh thank you for bringing these points up. Sometimes it's so hard to look past the now because it's so enjoyable- but that's not to say the future won't be even more enjoyable. Just different. TY!!

It is so bittersweet. You want them to grow up and you want them to stay little. It is so emotional watching them grow. Sometimes I just look at Gracie and ask her...why did you grow when mommy wasn't watching!
