I hate that I my hand is so numb I can barely wipe my own asss. Ok well I just wanted to throw that one out there...I mean if you can find something to flame go ahead.
ETA: More game rules...flame me then add something that we can flame you for. I dont want to be a Flame Whore too...

I'll one-up you (and post somewhere I technically don't belong yet).
I had an induction because I didnt want to deliver on Christmas. My bishop's score was nonexistant, so there was a good chance I was going to end up with a c-section. I didnt care because I had a feeling that I was going to have a big baby and didnt want to try and deliver a big baby naturally, even though my DS was only estimated to be 7lbs at birth per ultrasounds/fundal height. He ended up being 10lbs so I was right and damn happy I had a c-section. I gladly volunteered for another one, even though my dr would let me attempt a VBAC.

I'm not one to judge based on reg/newb status, but I feel like some of the meanest comments are coming from posters who weren't around when we first met Taytay, like they just jumped on a bandwagon to prove themselves or something.
That said, her post yesterday totally deserved what it got.
I was induced with DS because my mother was visiting and if he wasn't born before she left we were going to have one unhappy grammy!! And this time around, the same thing may be happening. So no flaming here!!
I'm getting induced a week early because our insurance deductible is $6,000, and if I am in the hospital on Jan 1st, we'll be out for our 2010 AND 2011 deductibles.

But yea, I was induced w/ my first a week early. How come "Just because" is an okay reason, but "so I'm not out another $6k" isn't??

Apologies... should have said, "Having this baby in until 40 weeks isn't worth $12k, and my doctor is fine w/ inducing early!" Definitely do need a sarcasm font
I.E. "risking use of pitocin, a c-section and my baby not being fully developed isn't worth 12k"

I completely understand not wanting to wait til 40 weeks if it saves you money.
I wouldn't do it just because... but that's more a flame for your doctor than you, if they weren't so f*ing scared of law suits, etc. they wouldn't allow it.

First, I didn't flame you, I gave you a side eye for your comment and your reasoning. Second, her "no reason at all" really has a reason and it's not like she scheduled it months in advance so she wouldn't be out some cash.
