Any 2nd+ timers past due date?

I have been measuring about 2 weeks ahead for several months now, and this is baby #2, so I was SURE she would be here early.  Goes to show ya, those measurements mean nothing! 

Hopefully my "only 1 cm and 50% effaced" from yesterday means nothing too!!

Why does it seem like 2nd babies usually come early?  Is that true?  Any 2nd+ timers still here past their "due date"?

I'm due Sat and feel like I'll definitely go late. He is very comfy in there. My first was born 40 weeks 4 days and that was with an induction, so who know when he would have come out!
