At my appointment yesterday I had a contraction while the Dr. was checking LO's heartrate. I barely felt it and if the Dr. hadn't pointed it out I would never guess it was a contraction. It wasn't painful at all and I would have thought it was little one pushing her back outwards, not a contraction. So don't worry, you could easily be having BH and not know it.
Totally normal. I didn't start feeling any until Friday at 36w, 1d, so it is very possible to not feel them until later or at all. I only became aware of them because I explained some sensations to my OB and he said, "Yea, those are BHC."
