random ovulation question

Is it possible to ovulate from each ovary at different times?  This may be a stupid question but I was just thinking about it today.  I had 2 follies on my left ovary and 1 on my right.  If you triggered would you ovulate at the same time from both ovaries or could it be hours/days apart?

TTC#5 July 2017 - 3rd cycle TTC = BFP on 11/12/17 at 9dpo Beta #1 = 96 at 13dpo - Beta #2 = 207 at 15dpo
TTC#1  starting Nov. 2009
3 rounds of Clomid + TI and 3 rounds of 7.5 mg Femara + IUI before our BFP on 11/8/10 at 12dpiui
TTC #2 3rd cycle of Femara 7.5mg+Ovidrel+TI = 4 follies = BFP on 10/12/12 
TTC#3 July 2014 - Metformin +TI = BFP at 9dpo - Twins, one baby lost at 5.5 weeks

    I don't think it's a stupid question at all.   

    From what I understand...

    Ovulation (actual release of the egg) occurs over a pretty short period of time (minutes) in response to the LH surge and even if there are multiple eggs, they should all be released in that same time frame.  I believe ovulation is thought to happen ~36 hours after trigger based on what I've read and what my RE has told me, but it may vary a little depending on your own body's response to the med.  Either way, both ovaries should let go of their follicles at the same time.
