I'm not now, but I was for 10 weeks at Royal Oak Beaumont with my daughter. I still can't believe I made it through that without losing my mind. The laptop was th eonly thing keeping me sane because it connected me to the world outside my hospital room.
I was 24 weeks when my water broke and I had my DD at 34 weeks. She really is a miracle. What happened that is causing you to have to be there? Do they have any idea how long your stay will be?
As pathetic as it is, I had a schedule of what tv shows I would watch at specific times. I hated the weekends because it strayed from my routine. My sister bought me a couple of crafts to paint for DD's room too. I always had visitors at night. I found lots of message boards and I spent tons of time trying to find people going through what I was. The only thing I wish I did was start a blog. I totally regret not writing down how I was feeling day to day. It's seriously like a distant memory now even though it was only 2 years ago. I am forgetting some big milestones I had while I was there.
Sorry to hear you are going through this right now. I'm on bedrest at home, but suspect I could end up back at R.O. Beaumont at some point in the near future. WAH!
Re: Anyone on hospital bedrest right now?
Yes, the laptop has helped alot! 10 weeks is such a long time, how far along were you when you went in?
