Non clicky poll. S/o Textures...

Do you eat one thing at a time? My DH does, it reminds me of how daycare center kids are taught to eat. (my experience) lol. He doesn't like his food to touch/textures mixing. What about you?

  • Nope. I like the contrasting flavors and textures of things together.

  • I like to mix my food. When I'm eating alone at home I put everything in a soup plate (or even a tupperware)and eat with a spoon. My sister thinks that's disgusting so that's a guilty pleasure that I enjoy only if nobody else is with me, including DH
  • Nope, I like my food mixed together. I never take a sip of anything while I'm chewing though. It's just so disgusting to me. I cannot have liquid and food in my mouth at the same time.
  • I'm a mixer.  However, I do like to eat my food evenly.  I can't eat all my veggies first, and then move on to the chicken, and so on.  I have to have even amounts of foods on my plate.

    Weirdo.  I iz one.

  • No I don't, but DH does. He eats one thing at a time and none of his food can be touching on the plate.

  • HA!  DS stuffs everything in his mouth that he can.  He will have something in his mouth and open up for some yogurt to add.  I love that he is into mixing because I am too.
  • Foods touching and mixing is a problem for me.  Especially if it's something soggy and it ends up touching my bread.  Ewww  lol

When I was little I had this green plate that I loved to eat every meal on.  The plate had three sections to it and I think that's how it all started for me. lol
