When does 3rd trimester begin?

When does the 3rd trimester REALLY begin? I have read it begins at 27 weeks and 28 weeks! Which one is it?!

Aroundish then. Your doc may say one week when someone else says another. However, you dont need to wait til week 28 to move over.

40 weeks, divide by 3, multiply by 2  = 26 weeks 6 days. 

I'm going with 27 weeks.  Alot of time the conflicting info online has to do with how you look at the weeks.  Generally if you are "27 weeks pregnant" it means you've completed 27 weeks and are in your 28th week.  (Just like your age... when you turn "1 years old", a year is over.. you're in your 2nd year).

different ppl say different things.  but i think the bump kicks you to 3rd tri at 27 wks.
