Brielle or Briella

What do you think of this name? It's my DH's current favorite and pretty much no other name measures up it seems. I prefer Briella just because it lends itself nicely to the nickname "Ella", and I am not a huge fan of the nickname "Bri".

Briella reminds me of Cruella, which isn't a nice association. I don't like either much, but think Brielle is better. With that name, you could call her "Elle."

Brielle. Briella looks odd to me, but that might just be because I've never heard of it before.

I prefer Brielle.  You could nn Elle or Ellie, or if you're in love with nn Ella just use that with Brielle!  I'm a big fan of nn-ing your kid whatever sticks

I lik Briella, I just think it looks incomplete. It looks like it should be Gabriella. Even so, it's a pretty name on its own (and one I prefer to Gabriella, anyway).

I like Brielle... Briella sounds too long and old fashioned!! Elle would be a very pretty nickname.
