When to test?

Good morning, ladies!  My husband and I are trying for our first child, and we're very excited  

 Question for you all: when should I take an OTC pregnancy test?  My cycle isn't super-regular (I have a period every month, but when it arrives can vary by a few days); average length of 30 days. 

I "should" have gotten AF yesterday (day 30), so now I'm wondering if I should test, or wait a few days.  Any thoughts would be appreciated - thanks!

You may have ovulated later than usual, so I'd give it a few more days. I suggest you start charting, that way you know when exactly you o'd and you'd know when AF is going to be here! Good luck!

if you think you are pregnant, test

otherwise you can wait

or test once per week until either AF or hpt+

Getting a BFN is definitely no fun, so you may want to wait of couple of days.

Are you sure of when you O'd?  If not and you are KU this cycle, you may want to think about charting with FF.  I started charting last cycle and REALLY like how much information you get from it.  It's free to set up an account and you can access it by clicking on my ticker or anyone else's.
