I have some of their maternity items from my first pregnancy. I think they run similar to their regular clothing -- so if you're a small in their everyday wear you'll likely be a small in their maternity wear.

I just ordered some Jeans...they are a little bigger in the thighs and butt but room for growth. I got the same size as I'm wearing in their other jeans. My BFF loved their clothes during her 3 pregnancies.

I don't know if you normally wear Gap clothes, but I feel like their normal clothes run big. I'm generally a 12 (I'm 5'8) and in Gap a 10 fits me just fine. Just some food for thought if you are between sizes, you might want to order both and return the one that is too big/small.
Of course, I don't know if their maternity is the same way or not.
I just bought a pair of their demi panel pants. I'm normally a size 8 (27-29), but I needed a size 4! And it still sags on my butt by the end of the day.

does anyone know if they have the maternity stuff at their gap outlets? We are making an outlet run in a couple of weeks so I thought I'd see if it is worth stopping in there...
Yes I had alot of work pants and jeans from there from my last pregnancy. I love them... the best place I have found for maternity. They run pretty true to your pre-pregnancy size. I was a 12 before, and a 12 in the maternity. Everything also holds up soooo well!
I tried everything last pregnancy and right before third trimester I had a breakdown at the maternity jeans I had bought from motherhood...
After my meltdown ended I remember that Gap had maternity and I haven't shopped anywhere since. I wear their stuff normally so it is nice to have the same style and size just with the extra belly room! :-)
I have already hit up some sales at Gap maternity this pregnancy since I am having to re buy my entire maternity collection due to weight loss, a lot of weight loss!

This might sound dumb, but were you a 12 at Gap or a 12 other places? I find their jeans run at least a size big in their 'normal' clothes (I'm normally a 12 most places, but in Gap 10's fit). Or do their maternity pants not run that big?
Re: Gap Maternity
Good question. I was wondering the same thing.

I love gap maternity but check out old navy too. The prices are so cheap.
I love them!! order the same size you are currently wearing now.
Old navy.....order a size down! They run huge.
I LOVE Gap maternity clothes!
