Braxton Hicks question

Not sure if this is normal or not. Anyone else notice when your stomach contracts your heart/pulse speeds up? I mainly notice it when I'm lying down. If no one else has had this, do you think it's something to worry about?

    I have been getting the Braxton Hicks contractions quite often.  Actually, Wednesday when I was at the doctor's having my ultrasound I started having them and there therefore the appointment didn't go as planned.

    I haven't noticed that, but I'll try to pay attention next time.  I'm not sure if it's common/normal, but I'd definitely bring it up at the next appointment.  If you feel faint or light headed, I'd call though.
