I feel like this child is going to erupt out of my side...

The joys of baby being transverse... every time he/she stretches or moves an elbow or something I feel like it's going to pop out my side through my skin. My skin actually HURTS in spots where the head, butt, and (I'm guessing) elbow are because those are the spots where the baby wiggles/moves the most.

I am hoping by my appointment next week, baby has turned... my OB is doing an ultrasound at every appointment from here on out until he/she turns!

I think I am transverse then too. I'm getting some crazy action on my far right side. I think I feel little feet there too. I guess it could be an elbow. But I feel something really big and hard above my belly button. I am not sure if it's a head or a butt. I wish I knew what position baby was in!

LO was transverse until about 34 weeks and turned head down. I actually kind of preferred transverse to having feet in my ribs.

SO much sympathy for you ladies. My LO is transverse at 26 weeks and it already hurts like a beyotch.. I swear she has already poked a hole through my right side abdominal muscles with her pointy little feet and last night I woke up on my side feeling like a mouse was stuck under my side. It was a little foot, kicking like "get off my foot!" I wanted to tell her, "Honey, your foot isn't SUPPOSED to be under me when I'm on my side!

My DD was transverse for a long time as well, and I couldn't remember how far along I was before she turned. I looked it up last night and apparently at an ultrasound at 35 weeks, she was still transverse--so I think she turned around 36 weeks! Still, I don't remember it being quite like this... but then again, everything feels so much different 6 years later and 40 pounds lighter.
