so confused and concerned

I've been having pains in my hips and in my groin for the past week and it's not going away or getting any better. I've never had that before when i was pregnant with my daughter. should i be concerned about the pain? What could it be or mean? I don't go back to the doctor until october 4th. PLEASE HELP. my baby isn't due until december 1st.

My second pregnancy is different from my first, however ANYTIME you are concerned you should call your doctor.......

yeah i have been having it too.. just the baby getting into position is what i was told.. but call if your worried

Umm, HELLO? Call your doctor if you're in that much pain.  Sheesh.

I'll reiterate -- call your doctor if you're concerned. The Bump doesn't do online diagnoses.

Lurking..but it's just your hips spreading. Probably nothing to worry about.

Ya, I have had this pain for a long time, you will find this post pretty common on 2nd tri.

my dr said normal.  he said 2nd babies move lower sooner and you're already spread out so they've got more space to do so.  this then puts pressure on your hips and groin.
