 I haven't really watched soaps in a long time but this makes no sense to me.  I guess Young and the Restless will be next

Bold and the Beautiful is one of the top soaps... I read it in Soap Opera Digest in the check out line a few weeks ago.

I believe B&B runs in many markets around the world, albeit a few years behind.  They'll keep it on the air here for the simple fact that it makes billions of dollars around the world.

Roles on the B&B are the most coveted on daytime tv because the actors make a kajillion dollars in royalties since each episode is replayed so many times.

I had no idea!  It's the only one on CBS that I never liked.  Go figure.

Not to mention, B&B is only 1/2 an hour (isn't it?), so I'm sure it costs less to produce.
