I want to make chicken and rice for dinner ... you know, that kind you bake with rice?

Can I have your favorite/easy recipe?

Get a can of Campbell's cream of chicken soup (or go to their website) for their cheesy chicken and rice casserole. You just mix the soup, some water, and a bag of frozen veggies, put that in a dish, put the chicken on top and bake. Super easy.

this is what i do.

put chicken in a cassarole with cream of mushroom soup to completely cover it. then add salt and pepper on top. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Meanwhile make a pot of plain rice. serve chicken and sauce over the bed of rice.

eta: just put in the soup as it comes out of the can - do not mix water in with it. it makes a sauce rather than a soup.

Ingredients

1 (10.75 ounce) can Campbell's? Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup (regular or 98% Fat Free)
1 1/3 cups water
3/4 cup uncooked regular long-grain white rice
2 cups fresh or frozen vegetables
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

Stir the soup, water, rice, vegetables and onion powder in a 12 x 8 inch shallow baking dish.
Top with chicken. Season chicken as desired. Cover.
Bake at 375 degrees F for 45 minutes or until done. Top with cheese.
