AMC Newport Theater - bed bugs?

I heard a while back that the AMC Newport Theater had bed bugs.  Is this really true and do you think it's been treated by now? I want to go there on Thursday and DH is throwing a fit about it.  I can't seem to find any articles about it.

I'm a paranoid freak who wouldn't go to ANY local theater, right now, for fear of bed bugs.  I'm itching just THINKING about them.  Ugh!

I'm with Lyons- the thought of bed bugs drives me crazy!!! I have become super freaked out and have started checking the mattress and well just changing the sheets and doing laundry more often. I thought that there was a bed bug registry, but it's only for hotels I think.

Dr. Oz did a show about it not too long ago, too.  The expert he brought in was talking about all of the various ways you can "bring them home."  I almost needed a Paxil to leave the house that day.

I hadn't heard about the theater....but did anyone hear that there was an outbreak at the Anderson library?  I heard that a few weeks ago and then when out of town.  So I'm not sure if it's accurate or been taken care of.  YUCK!

I also heard that the new cinemas by Florence Mall had an outbreak not long after they opened. Makes me itch all over.

I work in the Rent to Own business so I see bed bugs EVERY DAY! I am a huge freak about it. I check EVERYTHING! I haven't heard about bed bugs at the theatre other than someone mentioning it on here a while back. Honestly though, there are bed bugs everywhere right now so while it's smart to be cautious of them I don't plan my life around the fear of bringing them home with me or else you seriously wouldn't be able to go in public.

YUCK! I would have been glued to my house! I really don't think I could havve watched that- good thing I missed that episode.
