My contractions are like this: the back pain starts, then the front. The front last (uterus is tight and crampy) for about 20 seconds and goes away but the back pain continues for another 30 seconds. How the crap do you time that??

That would mean it's almost a 2 minute contraction...is that possible?
I'd have to agree... but you know I'm still new to this contracting junk.
This. How long has this been going on??
Not long. This is the only time it's felt real like that. Is it possible to have a 2 minute contraction? WTF?
ETA: I've only had 3 and they're about (give or take) 10 minutes apart.
20 seconds plus 30 seconds would be about a minute which is normal...some women may have longer contractions...so yes, it could be possible. The pain may build up, peak, then decrease and go away during those 1, 2 minutes. I still would count that as one and then of course time them in btwn.

Well I said about 2 minutes because the back pain would start about 30 seconds before the front would. It's definitely doing the build up/decrease thing. shiiiiiitttt.

Have your hospital bag in the car when you go to your dr appt...just in case

Ok, I will let Dr. G know at my appointment and I'm getting an internal so we'll be able to know if these contractions are doing their job.
Yes, shower for sure and I'm going to eat a big breakfast cause I am not one to do well with starvation haha
