I don't know if it's CD safe, but most pedis recommend against using baby powder because it can be inhaled into the baby's lungs and cause respiratory problems. I would ask them to stop using it.

This. CDs or not, I'd prefer they not use powder on my LO.
on the rare occassions i use any powder, i always just sprinkle some into my hand and then rub it on DS and get off any excess before putting his CD on.
Unless you have signed something saying they could use powder on him, they better not be using it on him...it's against the law. Any medication or application of anything other than using baby wipes while diapering needs strict written permission. (I'm not sure if this extends outside of Virginia and Michigan where I worked daycare, but I'd assume so)

I don't think this is a rule in Texas. I could be wrong. They normally just use the cream I sent.

I'm in TX too. My daycare told me that they cannot use anything unless I provide it. It could be just their policy, but they made it sound like more than that.
