  • Out of those?  Number three.  Though I would make it into a double name and just call her Audrey Anna.

  • I love Elizabeth. I've never heard of Audrianna. I do like Adrianna.

This! Audrianna Elizabeth is a mouthful!

  • Nayelee Amaya - I apologize in advance if this is a cultural name, but seriously?! In English, it sounds like a hot mess of contrived name parts.

Fix: Neely Amelia. Neely was a name used in the novel Valley of the Dolls by Jacqueline Susan. Amelia is an attractive alternative to Amaya.

Aaliyah Marie - As in that R&B singer who died tragically young like ten years ago? Please don't. Marie is a "filler" middle name.

Fix: Delilah Mae. A more attractive (and easier to pronounce) alternative to Aaliyah, with a solid history and a lovely nickname (Lilah). Short, sweet and bold, Mae is a refreshing alternative to dull and dated Marie.

Audrianna Elizabeth. Not bad. Definitely the best of your choices.

Fix: Audrina Elizabeth. Streamline Audrianna into something a little less fussy. Audrina is just as feminine, without all the high maintainance flourishes.

  • My husband & I are both Hispanic and I'm also half native american so we are trying to stick to hispanic, spanish, italian names. If you have any other ideas please throw them out there. The name Naylee means "I love you" in an Native american Language, it's not because of Kathrine Heigl daughter...didn't even know that was her babies name.

    This.

  • #2. I love Aaliyah! GL!
  • I also think Adrianna is much prettier than Audrianna.

I love Amaya but not Nayelee or Aaliyah.

  • Out of the ones you listed, #3 is the only one I like and the only one I knew how to pronounce!  I would rework the spelling though.  I like the idea of giving a nod to your baby's heritage, but it will also help her in life if her name is easy to spell and pronounce.

  • I'm Hispanic too and I actually love the name Nayeli (but spelled the traditional way) and I don't find it weird because I've seen it a million times. I also like Amaya so Nayeli Amaya would me my first choice.

Audriana Elizabeth will be my second choice. And I know that Audrianna and Adrianna are not the same. But I like the single "n" spelling a bit better because is more traditional Hispanic than the double "n".

If Naylee means "I love you," then why change the spelling to Nayelee? That kind of cancels out the meaning. I would still read it as Nay-lee, not Ni-yay-le, as I assume most others would as well.

    BEHIND THE NAMES SAYS:

NAYELI << this traditional spelling is actually pretty. I like it a lot. Cultural names are good, but only when spelled correctly. Nayelee ... not good.

    Gender: Feminine

    Usage: Native American

Means "I love you" in the Zapotec language.

I really like this, but spelled properly, since you explained it.
