headache

Has anyone else had a lingering headache? I've had it for probably a week and it doesn't matter how much water I drink or how much rest I get, it's still there. I don't think it's allergies either because they hit me really hard in the fall and spring when they do come. *knock on wood*

I'm not really a tylenol person when it comes to headaches since I can usually nap/sleep them away or they just go away on their own, but this is frustrating. I'm not sure if this is a pregnancy symptom per se, but it hasn't happened to me before. ...so annoying! Vent over. :)

Re: headache

  • I am having this as well.  I have never liked tylenol either, but I broke down and took some.  It has helped.  I am not taking it everyday, just when it gets bad at work.  Good luck, hope you feel better.

His three plus my one; we are all excited to welcome a little one!

  • I have had non stop headaches for a week and a half now.  I have been taking Tylenol and it sometimes helps.  On the real bad days, I take Sudafed because mine are most likely some hormonal/ somewhat sinus headaches.

  • I'm holding out as long as I can, but I may just have to break down soon enough.

  • YES, bad headaches that have lasted 2 weeks have been my worst symptom. I had a prenatal massage, and asked the masseuse to focus on my neck/shoulders/upper back and head. It was the only thing that took the headache away.

Also, I put ice on my neck ( a bag of frozen veggies wrapped in a thin towl), the day after she worked out the knots, and it has really helped.

My doc said I could take 2 tylenol per day, but honestly it does NOTHING for the pain.

    Good luck to you!
