PCOS moms - conceiving child #2 question

If you had PCOS and had your first kid, were you able to conceive naturally on your second child? Just wondering what will happen once my LO is out...if the body will work like a normal human being or go back to being the bitter infertile self.

Thanks!!

Re: PCOS moms - conceiving child #2 question

  • I was on Metformin to get my first and before my second, I had lost weight down to a very "normal" weight and before I started the Met, we were pregnant...it was a shock to me.

  • My sister conceived naturally on both. It took years for #1 (they weren't trying but weren't protecting themselves against pregnancy, either) and was PG with #2 within 2 years.

    I hope you concieve quickly!

  • Had IF treatments with DD.  Was on BC and got a surprise bfp with ds.
  • DS was IVF. We are not sure yet about having another so I don't know if we would get pg without help. But -- I actually get a real period every 30 days. Weirdest thing EVER.
  • DD1 was conceived on Clomid.

DD2 was a shock since she was apparently conceived in less than 5 minutes of 'sex' where we both agreed it just wasn't working out that night and couldn't get into it.
