It's normal to be sore for a little while afterwards but if you are not feeling better soon, I would call and let them know exactly what is going on. Hope you feel better!!
Yes I told him I felt worse and he said it will take time and to come back twice a week. He put me on a heated roller bed thing for a few minutes then "popped" my lower back. I didn't hear or feel any pop but he said he did it. He also had me lay on my back and bring my knees up to my stomach. Do you think I should look for someone else?!?!?

Weird! I would look for someone else.
I go to a chiro who specializes in pregnant women and infants. She's never made me sore afterwards and never uses any kind of cracking/popping. I always feel much better afterward.
She uses an "activator" tool which is much gentler and direct:
I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living my baby you'll be.

Honestly, if it's your first adjustment it probably will be sore for a little while. You want to ice it if you can. It will get better with each adjustment.

I went to an activator chiro friday for sciatica (went to a diff one for years and felt great) and I felt a lot worse, still do today. I am discontinuing and going to see a physical therapist.
My sciatica usually feels better after an adjustment but like you, this last time I came out of it barely able to walk. I will probably go back tomorrow to get readjusted because I'm still hurting but if he doesn't fix it this time then I'm going to try physical therapy.

yes, this doesn't sound right to me. I always feel or hear something. I would suggest you find someone who specializes in PG women. My chiro would never have me laying on my back and/or bringing my legs up to my stomach...
When I first started going to the chiropractor after a car accident about 4 years ago my dr did say after my first visit that I might be sore and to apply some ice to that area. After the first appt I did feel sore but not enough to even put ice on my sore spots. Now I walk out feeling great! There is one adjustment my new chiro does for my lower back that I never hear, but all the other ones I have heard.

This is a little late reply...I see quite a few pregnant women and children in my chiropractic practice. It is common to feel a little pain/soreness after the first adjustment. However with that said, you seem that you may have been uncomfortable or unsure of your experience, so you could look into finding someone else, perhaps a female chiro. Also check www.icpa4kids.com to find a pediatric/maternity chiro in your area. Good luck!
