I didn't get my butt in gear until DS was 15 months old, but finally 9 months later I'm back in shape and soooo much happier! I made a blog post today with pictures if you are interested

I go on and off with my workout routine. I either power walk on the treadmill for 30-45 minutes (I can't run), or rollerblade around the neighborhood for 20 minutes or so most evenings.
The key has been in my diet. I used Spark People and tracked every single thing I ate. When I don't exercise I only eat 1200 calories a day which I split into 4 small meals so I am eating every 3 hours when I am awake and don't eat after 7pm. I also drink a ton of water. On days when I do work out I eat roughly 1500 calories
