I'm sorry! I took the 3 hour this morning and it wasn't as bad as I expected. Drink a ton of water when you are finished, though, to hopefully prevent the headache I just got. I also highly recommend a meal and a nap when you're done.
I failed the 1 hr also, I was at 160. Then when I saw my Dr my blood pressure and heartrate were pretty high. My Dr told me that stress can elevate your blood sugar and I had had a rough couple of days before. Anyway, I had my 3 hr today and passed all 3! So just try to make sure you take it easy the few days before your 3 hr and not do anything too physically or emotionally stressful. Good luck!
I failed the 1 hour as well, although I didn't get my number.
The 3 hour test wasn't too horrible, definitely tasted a little better! Haha!
But I have lower back pain that makes sitting for long periods of time painful, so after a while I got a little antsy. Make sure you bring something to occupy yourself!
I also have this thing with needles, I don't much like them...well I actually don't like them at all. But the person that drew my blood did very well...that is up until the 4th time. I didn't look, but my husband said she had to move the needle around in my arm quite a bit. But I didn't feel a thing.
But, in the end, I found out I was fine. I'm thinking that it may have been stress that forced me to take the 3 hour.
